What a session actually feels like

You don't have to know how to pose

Almost everyone tells me the same thing before we start. They're awkward. They don't photograph well. Their toddler will never sit still. Twenty minutes in, most people have forgotten the camera is there. I direct the entire session — where to stand, what to do with your hands, how to get a two-year-old to actually laugh.
